We are conscious that there is a lot of local interest in this planning application:

Please note that the Parish Council is a statutory consultee only. The decision-making body for planning applications is East Suffolk Council, as the Local Planning Authority. They will review all consultation responses before determining whether or not to grant permission.
All responses- from parish councils, statutory consultees and individual residents- are considered by the Local Planning Authority (LPA).
Parish/Town Council comments do not carry more legal weight than a resident’s — they are treated as one consultee’s response among many.
We would encourage residents to submit their comments directly to East Suffolk Council. Any comments based on material planning considerations will be taken into account by the planning department when reaching their decision.
More information on material considerations can be found here: https://www.planningportal.co.uk/services/help/faq/planning/about-the-planning-system/what-are-material-considerations
We apologise for not sending a Mailchimp digital notification about our recent planning meeting to those on our mailing list. This was an oversight and was not intentional.
Please be assured that you still have the opportunity to submit your comments to East Suffolk Council. We have today heard that the consultation period for this application has been extended to 12th September.
