Residents are advised of a temporary road closure affecting the A12 Hacheston northbound on-slip.

Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to implement the closure to allow for essential surfacing works associated with the delivery of the Southern Park & Ride. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

Closure Details

• Location: A12 Hacheston Northbound On-Slip, Hacheston
• Dates: From 7pm on 7th April 2026 to 5am on 16th April 2026
• Times: Nightly between 8pm and 5am
• Purpose: Surfacing works linked to the Sizewell C Southern Park & Ride

Diversion Route

During the closure, a signed diversion will be in place:

• Travel southbound on the A12
• Make a U-turn at the A12/A1152 roundabout
• Continue northbound on the A12
