We would like to spread the word about the Warm Homes Suffolk initiative, a scheme run by Suffolk County Council in partnership with social enterprise lender Lendology CIC.

The scheme offers interest-free loans to help homeowners make their homes warmer, more energy efficient, and cheaper to run. Loans can be used for a wide range of improvements, including insulation, new windows, solar panels, low-carbon heating systems, and more.

With energy costs still high and the need to reduce emissions growing more urgent, this initiative offers a practical way for residents to improve their homes without the burden of high upfront costs.

How it works:

• Loans of up to £15,000 are available, repayable over a period of up to seven years

• 0% interest – you only pay back what you borrow

• Available to homeowners across Suffolk, subject to eligibility
